More to come… A series about the Warrenton, VA Water Tower.
I forgot to post about this. Last month I took a lath wood working class with the owners of Wraferbuilt in Buffalo. Here are the fruits of my labor…
The Belt Line: Hiding in Plain Sight opened at Sugar City on January 1, 2016 and we had a really great turn out opening night. The show was featured in both The Buffalo News and The Public. Here are a few shots of gallery goers checking out the work.
Here is a sneak peek of one of the images I’m showing in the group show, The Belt Line: Hiding in Plain Site opening January 1, 2016 at Sugar City in Buffalo, NY.
We started a new project. It’s a work in progress at this point and phase one is complete. We cut the spines off of two copies of Allen’s book, Where the North Sea Touches Alabama. Starting with the preface, we reassembled the pages into what will eventually be an accordion style book. At this stage, we’re just playing with the materials and seeing what comes next. I’m enjoying the collaboration.
I shot this in Sydney for my ongoing project entitled Perfect Days. I’ll be adding this, as well as some additional new ones to my website soon. I’m looking forward to possibly taking this work in a new direction in the coming months.
“Do stuff. be clenched, curious. Not waiting for inspiration’s shove or society’s kiss on your forehead. Pay attention. It’s all about paying attention. attention is vitality. It connects you with others. It makes you eager. stay eager.” – Susan Sontag
